Y&R London launched a campaign for the BBC’s coverage of the 2016 European Football Championships inspired by the host nation’s history and passion for football, starring pundits and football stars dressed in period costume and parading the championship trophy through a French royal court.

Led by a young Page carrying the European Championship trophy, anticipation grows throughout the spot as action moves from the grand trophy room to a stadium packed with competing nations’ fans. It features a rousing track by French band Justice, and the spot signs off with a humorous play on France’s national motto - 'Liberté. Egalité. Footé.'
