About me

Hello,

I have recently completed MA Graphic Branding course at the London College of Communication and would like to make the best use of the skills developed during my university study and previous work experience.

I started out as a junior visualiser in healthcare advertising in 2006, but soon moved into a full-service advertising setup where I worked as a senior visualiser for a year. My time in advertising was largely divided by ideating concepts and executing ad campaigns for well-known/established brands in India. In 2008, I joined Design Stack, a multidisciplinary design agency, where I my responsibilities were lead by extensive design research. Although branding and print design are my forte I have also developed concepts involving environment graphics, information design and online media. A key part of my responsibilities was also to work with a wide range of suppliers to translate design concepts into final production. I also like to keep myself attuned to the growing, vibrant discussion about design in India. My interest in design culture and material culture helps to expand my knowledge about creativity in the country.

Over the past five years, I have become highly proficient in Adobe CS Suite on both Mac OSX and Windows. I am able to work under pressure to tight deadlines and ensure the work is produced at the highest level. My working methods are often centered around a deep passion for grids, typographic layouts and details. A thorough understanding of the design process, including print production and holistic approach towards branding allow me to collaborate with individuals from many different backgrounds. I enjoy working in a creative team and have the ability to communicate with seniors and colleagues alike as my referees can confirm.
