We are entering an age in which artists and designers are beginning to engage with the possibility of creating work for a weightlessness environment. A project directed by Barbara Brownie “Design for Weightlessness” explores the concept of defamiliarization of previously Earth-bound fabrics, which are made strange by the absence of gravity.
