Bridge design & engineering magazine editor Helena Russell was commissioned
by UK-based steel contractor Cleveland Bridge to write a book celebrating the company’s 125 year history. The book covered the history of the company and its major projects including the Humber Bridge, Tsing Ma Bridge in Hong Kong, and the Sydney Harbour Bridge, and our studio was given the opportunity to design it.

Leading the design for this project, the objective was to create a hardback coffee table book celebrating the company’s heritage and showcasing their impressive global projects through photography.

This project involved developing a consistent page layout and grid system, selecting a suitable typeface, size and hierarchy, selecting and scanning photography as well as designing the book cover and dust jacket.
