ABOUT
In 2017, Bank of America Merrill Lynch along with all companies in the UK with more than 250 employees, were required to publish their first ever gender pay gap figures by the end of each financial year.
Leading the design for this project, the brief was to come up with an on brand digital solution for a downloadable report which would be published on the banks’ website, with a design and layout that would set the tone for future reports.
The solution was an interactive PDF with navigational functionally which included roll-over menu buttons on the cover page, allowing users to effortlessly navigate throughout the report. The design was based on a clean and contemporary layout and structure allowing the information, data and photography to work together and have a clear sense of positioning.
This report was reviewed by many senior stakeholders within the New York and London offices of the bank, with many last-minute amendments and quick turnarounds which involved prioritising and carefully managing expectations in order to deliver on time.
