1. Scriptwriting, storyboarding, and directing the shoot.
I discussed the purpose of the video with the client, developed a mood board, found references to visualize the concept for the client, created the script and storyboard for DOP, arranged the shooting process so it corresponded with everything that was planned, and directed the shooting process.
2. Production management: location arrangement, cast and make-up management, and script supervision.
I contacted and checked the location, agreed on the timings of shooting with DOP, Makeup artist, model and production assistants, supervised the script, and tracked time marks during the shoot.
3. Post-production: color-grading in DaVinci Resolve, green screen removal and VFX in After Effects and Premiere Pro, video editing in Premiere Pro, sound design in Premiere Pro, and motion graphics in After Effects.
I processed the raw footage from the Blackmagic 4K camera, color-graded it, removed the green screen, and created artistic highlights matching the colors of the scene according to the mood board in DaVinci Resolve.
I prepared the background photos, processed them in Photoshop, and composed them with the footage of the model.
I chose the best takes and edited them into a story according to the script in Premiere Pro. I added visual special effects like sun rays and dust to make the visual look close to the creative task.
I added transitions and text animation.
I ordered the voice-over from the voice-over artist, edited it, matched it with the video, and added music and sound effects.
