During the first module of my Level 6 study, I took part in the YCN Student Design Awards, by designing candle packaging for a collection of Oliver Bonas candles, using Fedrigoni paper. The brief was to design for a female customer aged 25-45 years old, with interests such as; travel, culture, and style. I decided to design a candle collection based on the four seasons around the world. Winter Highlands (Scotland), Autumn Woods (America), Summer Savanna (African Savanna) and Spring Blossom (Japan).
