About me

Being creative is my biggest passion. I have recently graduated with a BA (Hons) in Graphic Design, studying at the University of Hertfordshire. From a young age, I have enjoyed art, design and music, and graphic design felt like the necessary next step for me.

My favourite area of graphic design is visual communication. I love creating imagery that is able to communicate the theme and purpose of a product. In my degree, I particularly enjoyed book cover design, branding and product packaging design.

Currently, I work as an administrative assistant for Target to Treatment, however, I have also used my graphic design skills within this role to design the logo for the company, and create infographics for clincal trials. Prior to this, I worked as nursery nurse for nearly 10 years. I feel both of these roles have transferable skills when it comes to working as a graphic designer, as they taught me how to work in a pressured environment, how to be a team player, and how communciate with people.

I would describe myself as calm, easy going, hardworking, a fast learner, adaptable, easy to work with, and a team player.

In my free time, I enjoy listening to music, and playing the guitar, which I have done for 22 years. I have also taught myself to play the ukulele, and the mandolin by ear, and plan on teaching myself to play the keyboard and bass guitar next.

My skills include: Adobe Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop.
