Concept
This collection brings together commissioned and personal pet portraits created to celebrate the character, expression and unique presence of each animal. Rather than placing every subject against a conventional plain background, I often incorporate flowers, gardens and natural settings that reflect both the animal’s personality and my own colourful, nature-inspired style.

Execution
Each portrait is painted by hand using traditional media, working from carefully selected reference photographs. I focus particularly on the eyes, expression and distinctive markings before developing the surrounding colours, textures and details. The collection includes cats and dogs of different breeds, as well as portraits featuring more than one animal, demonstrating my ability to create both intimate close-ups and complete narrative scenes.

Results
The finished portraits combine recognisable likenesses with warmth, colour and emotion. Together, they demonstrate a versatile approach to bespoke pet portraiture while maintaining a consistent painterly style centred on animals, nature and connection.
