Victoria von Knorring is a director/ producer with a background in architecture and design. Before graduating from Kingston University, London with BA (hons) in architecture, she studied sculpture and painting at L'Ecole Nationale Des Beaux-Arts in Paris. After finishing her work experience in the office of Shigeru Ban, Tokyo, she moved to New York to study filmmaking at the Tisch School of Art at New York University. Shortly after completing her studies, she landed in the world of music videos, directing her first clip for Ninja Sarasalo, the former Jean Paul Gaultier model. Directing is a playground that gives Victoria the freedom to use the full range of her creative talents. Music videos provide the opportunity to experiment with a kaleidoscopic range of styles and explore approaches that are based on reinvention and constant flux. As a director, Vicky is best described as someone who is always willing to 'shake genres'. As well as directing music videos for Universal, Sony BMG and HMC, Victoria has also directed commercials and short films.
