ABOUT
We have worked a lot with Intel in the past year, promoting anything from new products, software and awareness to B2B clients as well as B2C.
Intel have usually opted for a simple, InView, MPU or other inner-page concepts for a direct client engagement result. However, this time they requested a more 'out-the-box' custom unit that would promote how Intel technology had been used in the Royal Shakespeare Company 'Tempest' play.
A truly unique play that defies the norm needed a unit just as engaging, however it also needed to keep on brand with Intel. It also needed to ensure it was minimalist and structured to replicate the ease of using Intel products.
I came up with a responsive unit that would feature engaging imagery and videos, as well as expand to show more detailed information should the user want to see this. The mobile format was heavily image based, as mobile devices offer such a short and small window to grab users attention - so it needs to be eye-catching and punchy!
Alongside the customer full-page takeover, I suggested an inner-page InView unit to keep conformity with their previous method of promotion, and to offer a smaller snapshot version of the campaign. We would aim this unit at the target audience during busier times, such as those commuting in London, who may not have the time or want to open a full-ad, or perhaps the bandwidth to engage with it properly.
It was a very successful pitch and Intel went ahead with my concept exactly as seen.
