ABOUT

Headline font that I developed in the second half of 2019. I envisaged a bold typeface that could have myriad different uses- displays, animation, poster layout, adaptation for apparel- there are many possibilities. The characters are stretched and seemingly ad hoc- pushed to the limits of legibility, but always legible up close and from a distance. This font can be put to use at either end of the creative spectrum.

Inspiration was taken from different sources- countercultural typography of Oz magazine, ad-hoc fruit & veg labelling and early bubble characters that emerged from the NY graffiti scene of the seventies.

This font is distinctive and irreverent and can be adapted for a surprisingly diverse number of uses.
