ABOUT

"Carmilla" is a 2D and 3D animated trailer based on the gothic novella written by Joseph Sheridan LeFanu in 1871.

The animation tells the story of two young women of opposed character, whose friendship, brought about by odd circumstances, blooms into a consuming love that struggles to overcome life, death and Victorian morals.

This project was my Bachelor thesis, therefore I was responsible for all concept work, all animations, most of the lighting/rendering, all compositing as well as sound design the music.
