ABOUT

The goal for this project was to create an image for a Japanese martial arts gym
situated in Canada. The blend of two different cultures was a crucial point to work on,
solved by including the red maple leaf of the Canadian flag meshed
with the Japanese figurative style in a simple, clean and modern look.
The message meant to be conveyed was about strength and sharpness,
but also wisdom and consciousness: the dojo would have been a place in which to learn
the art of defense and discipline along with a sense of fellowship and rectitude.
