About me

Dear MAP Team,

I'm Valentina and I'm a Berlin-based graphic designer with a strong passion for video and photo editing.

I have a 4 years experience in post-production, working for new media companies here in Berlin and collaborating

with others in the US and in Italy.

I started my career as a video editor: my skills included cut, color grading, 2d compositing, vfx and motion graphics.

During this last year, I focused my tasks on graphic design and animation while working for a prepress service company in Berlin,

designing info graphics and short animations, checking the quality of pictures and vectors, in terms of technical requirements and aesthetical value.

I'm proficient in using Adobe Creative Cloud (in particular After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, Media Encoder, In Design).

I find the CC workflow smart and convenient for creating hi quality graphics, or for easily integrating images and footage in my compositions.

Thanks to my video production background I know also the Final cut studio 2 workflow (Final cut, Color, Motion, Compressor, Cinema Tools).

I would be glad to be welcome by Map since I'm looking for a new company where to be inspired by beauty and creativity... and for a smart team, as well as the chance to grow professionally, improving my technical skills :)

website: - for the ability of combining different kind of medias in only one platform through a use complex of the parallax technique (great images, audio track, visual compositing, videos, narrative content)

magazine: COLORS Magazine from Fabrica - for its attitude to deal with strong and actual thematics with minimal graphics, strong aesthetics and powerful images. ()

app: INSTAGRAM - it's not about good design in terms of interface.. it's about beauty it self and the chance for everyone to create inspiring and wonderful user generated content.
