ABOUT

A social network for parents, allowing them to rent baby equipment while abroad to save the hassle of having to carry their own equipment
Brief: A social platform for parents who wish to travel with their babies without carrying all the baby gear with them. The website will connect travelling parents with local parents who are letting out their baby gear for either a day or a week.

Challenges: Working with an entirely remote team, required open and clear communication regarding needs, expectations and deadlines. Furthermore, the platform on which the project was to be developed on has changed during the design stage. This led to breaking the project into smaller stages of deliverables as the requirements of specifications grew.

What I did: I worked closely with the client during the production of the wireframes for the key pages. This helped both of us to understand better the size and complexity of the project before finding a suitable developer.
Once the wireframes were done I designed the look and feel based on the existing logo and Facebook page of the project. The initial stage was focused on a landing page, a registration form and the profile page. I’ve designed all pages including the icons and logos. The next stage of this project will be working closely with the developer to make sure they has all the assets they require as well as the site architecture.

Skills: Sketchapp, Photoshop, Illustrator.

Results: This is an ongoing project still in development stages.
