THE CHALLENGE
Aerospace Cornwall and Spaceport Cornwall wanted to show the world why Cornwall is becoming the best place in Europe for aerospace and space businesses to grow. They were planning on announcing a huge partnership with Virgin Orbit at the Farnborough International Air show 2018 whilst exhibiting several businesses already operating in Cornwall.

The biggest challenge was understanding the hierarchy of the organisations, the businesses involved and identifying the common thread that unites them. This would allow us to craft a message that would work for everyone and help develop a unique visual identity allowing them to stand out at the show.

THE SOLUTION
After our strategic workshops and immersion sessions with Aerospace and spaceport Cornwall, we quickly understood that all interests were only vested in the future development and growth of Cornwall's space and aerospace industry. It was about getting people to gravitate towards the stand, learn about the industry growth and the benefits of operating in Cornwall.

We crafted a bold message to command attention and create intrigue – ‘Find out why space and aerospace businesses are gravitating towards Cornwall’. Then, we teamed up with our strategic partners at Formation Live to develop a futuristic event stand that could communicate this single key message. We made sure that the visuals cohesively reflected Cornwall and resembled gravity throughout, whilst using a colour palette that was the opposite to any other event stand near them. Making the Cornwall stand impossible to ignore at the show.
