ARIA is a university group design project that I contributed to. The brief was set by local furniture design studio, Connection.

Brief
The aim was to design a new furniture piece to be used in the university/learning environment to enhance either individual or collaborative working. Connection are looking to diversify their product portfolio with a range of new and innovative products for the educational markets. Connection would like to capitalise on current workplace trends such as agile working, collaboration, and well-being in the workplace, and seek to develop their educational furniture portfolio

Solution
The design stems from the idea of having your own 'pod' to do your studying. It was a lengthy development process for the 3 of us, from initial research to final renders. Considerations for ergonomics, form, materials, assembly, manufacture and packaging were all taken into account. The final outcome was an aesthetically pleasing design form that suited the brief well.
