The Dinner Ladies is a Sydney-based frozen meal delivery service. Once a two-person, backyard-shed operation, now a national staple, loved for its counter-culture approach to taking the stress out of dinnertime. However, years of reheated iterations had left the identity feeling stale. Inspired by the brand idea, ‘Food from the Heart’, the new identity sets out to serve loyal customers whilst bringing new customers to the table. We developed a voice that reflected the caring, confident and charmingly rebellious nature of its founders, set to the unique, time-sensitive cadences of dinnertime.
