Brief:

Madness had reached 500,000 in sales in 2014, to celebrate this their label Union Square Music in conjunction with BPI decided to honour them with an award for such an achievement. The award needed to have a 'Madness' twist to it, and not just be an ordinary frame with CDs in it - the management wanted something that would mean more to the artists who would hopefully place the award on their walls with pride!

Solution:

A 'fruit machine' style award which uses the '500k' as the winning combination for a Jackpot! We went through archives of old memorabelia to define every detail of the design that included all members of the band and featured various strap lines, icons and titles that made Madness who they are today.
