About me
I have an extensive background in sales and marketing, an MBA and I'm a Fellow of the Institute of Sales and Marketing Management.
This gives me a unique perspective on the writing process as I realise that if you need something written you also need something sold. I don't write novels; I craft copy to suit the purpose you need it for, my sales letters - sell, my brochures - elicit a response and no word is wasted.
I have written extensively for UK local and National Government including the DTI and HMRC and much of what I produced was covered by the Official Secrets Act. I was part of a hand-picked team chosen to rewrite the HMRC intranet and part of another group tasked with an analysis of the online Business Link offering. I have written for blue-chip companies such as Warner Bros, SAGA and Disney, as well as numerous smaller companies here in the UK and abroad.
