ABOUT
Problem
As a top brand for San Francisco’s creative hub, Uber wanted to engage with the creative communities of the UK as they expanded operations into London, Leeds, Edinburgh, Manchester and Newcastle.
Insight
Artists are continuously inspired by the cities they live in, the culture, architecture, history and people.
Idea
Creativepool would host a competition for UK based members, encouraging them to share the inspiration they find in their cities. These will be printed to become #backseatart, available to take home for Uber passengers for two days only.
The Brief
Artists see their cities differently, beyond concrete and traffic, takeaways and multiplexes. We invite photographers, graphic designers, 3D artists, illustrators, contemporary artists and everyone in between to submit artworks inspired by the city they live in, the history, the culture, the music, and the people.
Results
Over 500 entries, thousands of distributed prints, thousands of social media impressions and incredible local action.
