Description
TWI worked with Level Best Enterprises to create a consistent, accessible and creatively led visual presence across its website, impact reporting and wider communications. From digital design to printed storytelling, the work helped Level Best present its mission with clarity, warmth and confidence, while staying true to the inclusive, people-first values at the heart of the organisation.

Brief
Level Best needed design that could do more than look professional. It needed to support accessibility, reflect the creativity of its trainees and enterprises, and help different audiences understand the organisation’s impact. The work had to speak clearly to families, trainees, funders, volunteers, partners and customers, while creating a more coherent experience across every touchpoint.

Summary
TWI developed a joined-up design approach for Level Best, creating a modern, accessible website alongside a design-led Community Impact Report. Across both platforms, the team used clear layouts, strong visual hierarchy, accessible typography, colour contrast, photography, icons, infographics and human storytelling to make information easy to understand and emotionally engaging.

The website gave Level Best a practical, welcoming digital platform to showcase its café, gallery, trainee services and four core enterprises. The impact report then extended that same design thinking into a printed and digital storytelling format, using bespoke layouts, visual sections, real voices and case studies to bring the organisation’s progress and community value to life.

Successes
The work gave Level Best a stronger, more consistent identity across digital, print and stakeholder communications. The website has supported increased visibility, enquiries, café and gallery visits, trainee applications and community engagement, while the Community Impact Report has become a valuable tool for funders, sponsors, partners and supporters. Together, the projects show how good design can make a social enterprise easier to find, easier to understand and easier to support.
