This is the journal about one of the most important commissions of my professional life. This job was of particular significance to me for a number of reasons. It wasn't just the fact that I was coming back to "big time" illustration after almost a decade on the product design industry. Taking a globally notable like Nelson Mandela and accepting the responsibility to illustrate key moments of his long meaningful life would be no easy task and couldn't be taken lightly. My fears turn out to be overrated as the help of editor Ana Maria Pereirinha and author Antonio Mateus constant feed-back became essential for the next two months of almost nonstop work. #Mandela #AntonioMateus
