ABOUT

A short documentary that takes us into the world of circus performers at the family-owned Circus Balkanski in Bulgaria. The goal of the film was to inspire viewers of all ages to fall back in love with the magical world of the circus that they might have experienced as children and forgotten about as adults.
This was a university project filmed with a small crew, on a small budget but with a big love for the circus art and filmmaking as well as with huge respect towards the contribution of the talent who took time to talk to us on show days and let us into their personal worlds behind-the-scenes.
Working on this film was an education in itself about what it takes to achieve greatness and the amount of strength it goes into perfecting your talents and connecting with an audience six days a week, live, without a safety net.
