Almost every hand went up.
Good. Fear means awareness. It means you’re paying attention.
But creatives can’t afford to get stuck in that fear. We must take it seriously—and then transform it into momentum. The antidote to panic is purpose.

The Machine Can Be a Mirror

When I began integrating AI into my workflow, I didn’t lose myself—I found something.
It helped me confront limits I had ignored: fears of math, coding, complexity.
AI let me re-approach my craft with new humility. With curiosity. With a sense of play.

Machines don’t have purpose. You do. Own it.

Your Purpose Is the Real Prompt

Don’t create to fill timelines. Create to mark time.
If we let machines answer all the questions, we stop asking better ones.
So next time you use a prompt, pause and ask:
What do I truly want to say?
What do I need to express that no one (not even a GPT) can?
That’s your prompt. The real one.

Dance Between Two Speeds

We live between extremes:

  • The algorithm: Fast, efficient, pattern-based.

  • The olive tree: Slow, patient, deliberate.
    Use one. Learn from the other.
    Hold both.

This week, take something you’ve been asking AI to generate. A visual. A tagline. A concept. Now ask:
That’s your seed. Plant it. Let it grow.
Not for likes. Not for speed.
For meaning.
Because the world doesn’t need more synthetic art.
