Seaweed Cannabis is an aquaponic chronic business who needed a name and a badass brand concept to launch their super-holistically-grown product a reality. Their growing systems position them in a unique sector in the cannabis marketplace, so we knew their visual identity had to make them stand apart from their competition. We designed their brand around the concept of the sea; yet pulled in less predictable themes than average ocean-inspired brands (hello, Mermaids!). In a hip cannabis industry dominated by neons and bright greens, we drew the palette from deep burgundy corals and underwater plants, and more neutral nautical colours.
