I am pleased to submit my application for the role of Studio Manager, advertised on Creativepool.
I am attracted to this position as I feel that I have the skills, experience and enthusiasm necessary to succeed in the role.
At INTO University Partnership, I was responsible for coordinating the production of worldwide mar-keting materials within the Marketing Team. This involved the coordination of the in house team of designers and editors, scheduling both regular and adhoc projects as well as coordinating external suppliers.
This was a new role within the organisation. As well as setting up and maintaining process documentation and workflow registers, I established workflow processes to track projects from start to finish, which helped with scheduling and identified potential bottlenecks.
I worked closely with clients to identify and timetable their requirements, leading to efficiencies of scale and I was responsible for managing third party suppliers, ensuring that their systems were able to support company budgetary and business requirements, achieving a 16% cost saving on the expected budget.
I also assisted with the final proofing of materials and ensured that all necessary approvals gained prior to printing.
Initially, at UniCredit Bank, I was responsible for the development of the UK publications team. My goal was to develop a small team that could cover the core business hours of 7am to 8pm. Responsibilities included resource hiring and development, workflow analysis and scheduling, creating team and client documentation, product quality and re-branding. My role involved regular communication with clients, ascertaining their requirements, ensuring that these requirements met company standards and allocating work to individuals.
I am a critical thinker who is able to gather and digest information quickly; I am organised and enjoy taking responsibility; I am highly computer literate with a good eye for detail. I work well with people at all levels of the organisation.
