ABOUT

Porsche’s latest inspiring film for the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) celebrates their overall victory at the 24 hours of Le Mans race in June 2016. Together with a stirring synch license and powerful copy, the film leaves the audience with goosebumps.

Following in the footsteps of their previous inspiring films from the FIA WEC, such as the 6 hours of Spa-Francorchamps film, Porsche’s latest re-tells the drama of the 24 hours of Le Mans race.

It was a race that had the Porsche team holding on until the very end. The winning team in the second car, made up of Romain Dumas, Neel Jani and Marc Lieb, managed to overtake Toyota at first place only just in the final lap. It was a tense competition between the two car manufacturers, but one that Porsche applauds Toyota for at the end of the film.

After their overall victories at 24 hour of Le Mans last year and this year, Porsche have now broken their own record and hold 18 wins at 24 hours of Le Mans. As the film describes, it was a dream come true for Porsche. And while Porsche is currently leading the FIA WEC with 127 points, the dream to win again still continues.

Adding to the tensity of the advert, Tracks & Fields synch licensed the powerful track ‘An Unfinished Life’ by Audiomachine composer Danail Getz. No stranger to making epic movie soundtracks, Getz’ track adds an extra layer of greatness to Porsche’s film.
