About me

For the past 12 years I have held senior management roles in health in both commissioning and service improvement at local, regional and national levels. The common thread of which has been; understanding the system, partnership working, service reconfiguration and improvement through innovation, horizon scanning, strategy development and service implementation.

My background in finance naturally leads me to focus on the numbers and ensure that public funds are spent as wisely as possible and that services deliver quality and performance.

I have led change projects, often in challenging organisational environments, due to financial turnaround or poor performance and have always based these on best practice models and new ideas. I am trained in Prince 2 project management techniques and have been a senior responsible officer for multiple innovation projects.

I have a background in both local government and the NHS and am well versed in operating and delivering competing priorities
