Mapping out co-working spaces: Uncommon for Studio Makgill

Working to Studio Makgill’s designs, we were tasked with producing signage for three co-working sites across Central London for creative studio Uncommon.

Each location has its own identity informed by a core theme and interpreted to suit the location’s unique requirements. Innovative and appropriate to each location, solutions included floor directories, door naming and door signs, building signage for exteriors, rooftop terrace signage and changeable café menu boards.

The main challenge for us was to understand the aesthetic of each of the buildings and then to produce the right materials and finishes to realise Studio Makgill’s vision in a practical and durable way. The results included stunning Ombre-printed oak boards, steel framed and folded steel signage, laser cut routed aluminium and laser cut acrylic.
