ABOUT
ADMA’s Young Creative and Marketer of the Year awards had a bit of a problem. The target audience was small, industry awareness low, and it wasn’t considered the award to enter.
So we used the best of old and new technology to get the awards noticed. Direct mail delivered junior marketers and creatives their own business card from the future, and invited them to find out how they got that dream position.
When they connected with Facebook, we used their profiles in an entirely new way. Their future unfolded right there in their own profile: winning the award, getting promotions, moving to New York, scoring big at Cannes, and landing that dream job.
The campaign took off: nearly half of our target engaged with the campaign. And our future business cards flooded social media, exposing our campaign to an audience 2,200% larger than our original target, and doubled the database size in the process. Most importantly, entries were up by 37% on the previous year.
