Brief

Design a series of illustrations for one of the major London museums.

Concept

The museum I chose to focus on was the London Science Museum and the exhibition, the Information Age. Celebrating the evolution of information technology over that last 200 years.


Solution

To celebrate the Information Age and the evolution of technology I created a series of illustrations designed in a vector icon form inspired by the style of graphics surrounding information technology. My first illustration was designed to give an overview of the exhibit. I chose to create a composition of the key components to the information age and their development over time. The other 6 Illustrations were based on each section of the exhibit, The Cable, The Constellation, The Telephone Exchange, Radio Broadcast, The Web and The Cell.
