The Walking Dead App was designed to make all episodes of the Walking Dead available to countries where it is not currently available. It was designed for phone and tablet on both iOS and Android with localisation for numerous languages. The aim with the visual design was to create an app that would incorporate the new iOS7 look and feel while also retaining the strong Walking Dead branding. Extra features such as random animated blood splats, slick transitions and an interactive quiz were added for extra appeal. The result is clean, smart, bloody and gruesome.
