ABOUT

The SETG are restoring a once familiar train to full working order for eventual use back on the main line in the south of England.
They commissioned me to produce an illustration for use on posters which would be sold to raise funds for the renovation.
The brief was for the train to look dramatic and I thought that a night-time view would look good as I could show the electric 'arcing' where the train picks up power from the third rail.
This was all hand drawn from scratch in Photoshop, based on my original black and white sketch.
The SETG have sold a lot of prints!
