The Helen Bamber Foundation wanted a film that conveyed their work; helping women recover from mental and physical suffering as a result of extreme acts of human cruelty ( torture, slavery, trafficking and displacement) - without being graphic or dark.

With an extremely limited budget, I created the concept of a mannequin factory where broken pieces were carefully put back together. In attempting to source mannequins to dress the location, we stumbled upon Mannekin - a real life Mannequin repair workshop - and filmed on site with the owner Roz Edwards.
