As the song is very narrative driven it felt like the obvious choice was to visualise Conchur's story in the video. There's a real feeling of melancholy to the song, as well as an absurdity about the idea of someone's partner leaving them for Channing Tatum, and so I really wanted to mix this sadness and silliness. To push things comedically and accentuate the absurdity of the track I decided to interpret the lyrics very literally when it came to visuals.

As the production time was very short on this project the style is intentionally very minimal, removing things like detailed backgrounds and just focusing on expression and emotion to tell the story.
