ABOUT

In this bold multi-award winning campaign for the Greater London Authority, the concept of subliminal messages of safety in women’s bathrooms was flipped and served to men via a mirror in a man's toilet, to address the sexist attitudes and inappropriate male behaviour that has led to an epidemic of misogyny and male violence against women and girls in London.
Abuse is known to have an escalating pattern, yet men are less inclined to hold their peers accountable for violence against women and girls - it starts with ‘harmless’ words, but rarely ends there.
This film aims to encourage men to first have a word with themselves, then their mates.
