About me
For the past eight years I have worked for an independent design company in London with an extensive publishing and B2B client base, but have decided to permanently relocate to the Oxford area. The work has included design for book jackets, posters, brochures and point-of-sale, advertising campaigns on London Underground and National Rail, as well as bus exteriors and online animation.
In all my design roles I have always worked directly with any client, handling meetings, budgets, concept development, market research and suppliers personally. This has enabled me to build a good relationship with the parties involved and oversee a smooth transition of work from concept to completion.
I have extensive project management skills and have carried through many individual projects with full responsibility for all aspects of the design process - from the initial meetings at publishers offices, through photoshoots, artworking, checking proofs and print supply via all methods (including FTP). I am also used to overseeing the print side, and have done so in all my design roles as well as a two year spell as Marketing Manager for IIR, the world's largest conference organiser.
I believe I am a good employment candidate due to my creative and technical ability, my experience and my positive and professional work attitude.
