ABOUT

Another logo project has been successfully completed and approved by my client! This time, it's for Novel Agri Store, a Cochin-based company specializing in agricultural products. For this project, I designed four variations: a primary logomark, a secondary logomark, an alternative logomark, and a brand logomark.

The Challenge of Rebranding
Rebranding an existing logo, especially one designed by a well-known professional, always comes with a set of challenges. The expectations are high, and the goal is not just to create something different but to improve upon the previous design while maintaining brand recognition. In this case, the challenge was even greater since the original designer had an established reputation, and their work was already well recognized in government projects. This meant that any changes needed to be carefully planned to ensure the transition was seamless while making a noticeable improvement.

Balancing Client Requirements with Creative Innovation
The client had a clear vision for the rebranding: the logo should be easily visible from a long distance, requiring larger text and a more prominent design. At the same time, the existing color scheme—various shades of green—was to remain untouched, as it was already well associated with the brand. This left me with the task of finding a way to enhance the design without altering the core elements that defined the company's identity. I had to carefully balance the client’s expectations with creative innovation, ensuring the new logo was both modern and recognizable.

Creating a Stronger Brand Identity
Beyond just redesigning the logo, the rebranding process involved strengthening the overall brand identity. Since the company is expanding into the Middle East, the new logo needed to resonate with a broader audience while maintaining its original essence. I had to consider factors such as cultural relevance, market appeal, and how the new branding would reflect the company's vision for growth. The goal was to make the logo not just visually appealing but also strategically effective in a competitive market.

Design Approach & Execution
I explored multiple design concepts to meet the client’s needs, refining typography, adjusting proportions for better readability, and optimizing the design for various mediums like signage, packaging, and digital platforms. After several iterations and discussions, we finalized a design that enhances visibility, retains the original color scheme, and presents a modern, professional look for Novel Agri Store’s expansion.
