As the author of the Fingerless Archer novels I was looking at an abyss when the idea of transforming them into a series came up. One never knew how the characters could turn out, how a medieval atmosphere described only with words would be reflected in images or how actions and dialogues could become a script. It was time to take a plunge with a very clear idea that the stories in my novels stopped being my own and that they were a mere backdrop to other peoples' creativity. I was fortunate enough to meet up with Tito. Together we converted the original novels into a Bible for the series and scripted two episodes. This was not only enjoyable but gave very satisfactory results thanks, mainly, to Tito´s in depth knowledge of dramatic structures for the screen. However, this is a mere starter compared to the reel he has produced to illustrate the series which, in my opinion, is outstanding and is there for all to see. Using only I.A. he has managed to convey the medieval atmosphere, introduced the main characters and set the tone required whilst remaining faithful to the novels. As a producer it is an excellent pitching tool for the series at an affordable cost, which was its objective, and hopefully a good start for the next stage in finding interested parties to continue with the project.
