About me

During both my BTEC National Diploma and AVCE Media course it entailed designing graphics and indents for screens. I achieved a distinction in this unit by developing a still and moving graphic image with creativity and flair using a still image and changing this image frame by frame, with technology such as Adobe Photoshop and illustrator.

To achieve a distinction I also demonstrated a sophisticated understanding of the opportunities and limitations of on screen graphic representation, by identifying graphic images and critically evaluating them, with full justification for their suitability for use in a television brief. I also produced video editing, music video production and factual programming production techniques to a distinction standard. I regularly keep up to date on Media industry news, purchasing Focus Guides for Adobe Photoshop and other print material such as the guardian and essential manuals for Dreamweaver and other programs. I have Avid Xpress Pro, illustrator, Photoshop, Dreamweaver and Pro tools LE with a Digidesign interface at Home. I use these frequently for editing holiday video's and pictures and projects such as a family friends weddings.
