ABOUT
Concept
“Osuzhdaju” is a conceptual board game that explores the culture of judgment, labeling, and social pressure in modern society.
The core idea was to transform familiar everyday behaviors — criticizing, condemning, and stereotyping — into a physical game mechanic that forces players to reflect on their own reactions and decisions.
The game is designed not only as entertainment, but as a conversation trigger about empathy, responsibility, and collective behavior.
Execution
The project was developed from scratch, including game mechanics, visual identity, and physical components.
I designed the board, cards, typography, color system, and overall visual language to feel ironic, slightly provocative, and emotionally engaging.
Special attention was given to balance between playfulness and seriousness — the design avoids being aggressive, instead encouraging reflection through interaction.
Prototypes were tested and refined to ensure clarity of rules, smooth gameplay, and strong thematic consistency.
Results
The final result is a fully developed board game concept with a distinctive visual identity and a clear social message.
“Osuzhdaju” works both as a playable product and as a design statement, demonstrating how game design can be used as a medium for social commentary.
The project showcases skills in concept development, system thinking, graphic design, and narrative-driven design.
