About me
I'd like to apply for this position. As my CV demonstrates, I've often written for money. The topics were frequently financial: commodities, company shares, particular industries, spread betting techniques, forex, tax, market indices and general news. I also tackled many other subjects that included real estate, healthcare, travel and cars. This illustrates my ability to research. I met deadlines that were usually on the same day as I was informed of a task.
For leisure, I have written extensively of conspiracy theories, UFOs and environmental matters, and my CV provides the URLs where these articles are held. Having written so much voluntarily, I clearly have a passion for this activity. There were times when these pieces received more than 1,000 views when I posted them to , and once there were 2,000 views. I have used WordPress a great deal.
Through oDesk, I have completed many jobs that were almost all writing, and received very good feedback: usually the top rating of 5. A number of oDesk employers described me as "great." Four of these jobs were proofreading, and I received the top rating of 5 for each. One client said, "Mr. Chilman is fast, accurate and intelligent," a second said, "Fast and accurate" and a third said, "Great work" twice. I achieved ten marks of 90+ percent in oDesk tests relating to English. My profile can be seen at .
I'm skilled at debate. When writing of conspiracy theories, I cogently defended a variety of unusual propositions. I won every argument I entered into at .
I know Excel to macro level and taught it to 16/17 year-old students at one of the best secondary schools in Thailand. I know Word very well. I used to work as an MS Access developer. I taught English as a foreign language for more than five years. I speak conversational German.
