Village Country Furniture requested we rebrand their company. Stuck in the dark ages they definitely needed new start. Not a long established company but a company wanting to place themselves in the niche of being long established with quality products.

The names Village and country sum up an earthy, as old as the hills, been there fore ever established in folklore. Well everything apart from that last statement. So the name was created now we had to have an image, that harked back to times gone by. A wood cut of a cottage black against white.
The traditional fonts we selected have serifs with the letters slightly spaced and italised to give it that modern twist, compliments the design.

That’s the creative bit, then it was the presentation, approved by the client. It sounds so easy writing it down here but you have to be ‘on the ball’ and understand the market place.
