One of many illustration used for the Cunard Line brochure. The brief was to capture the idea of travel incorporating the sites the entertainment and people on board. The style of illustration should be bright , fresh and simple. So the decision was made to paint onto a ultra smooth coated paper stock so the colour would not absorb sort much but stay on the surface to show a more liquid result.
