Let me introduce Hype Dance Company an exciting new dance studio based in Kent.

This was a fantastic project working with the amazing Finch Design Company.

For this brand we wanted to create something modern and on-trend using a dynamic typeface. I chose a handwritten style, showing the flow throughout the logo helping reflect the dance company.

ype Dance Company’s main focus is on Freestyle Disco for young children, so we chose a colour palette that reflected this, using vibrant and bold colours (almost neon with that hot pink!)

We were aware that we needed to choose colours that work well together whilst still being able to stand on their own. Perfect for creating separate ‘sub-brands’ for the classes Hype look to provide in the future.

My favourite thing about the branding for Hype is the ‘swoosh’, which is taken from the expressive element of the logo, the letter y.

Not only does it look fun and playful, but it adds depth to the brand identity, creating a memorable brand experience
