About me
I am not a know it all. I am a want to know it all. My goal is to work with people who have the same compulsive curiosity and who enjoy asking `why
My back story is one of leaps in the dark with no guaranteed safe landings.
I was an executive creative director of McCann in Manchester in the UK responsible for the entire agency three years after joining it as a copywriter. I jumped to McCann New York to join a team of renegade creative directors working on Coca Cola international not to upgrade my title (in fact the reverse) but purely because I needed to push myself. I jumped from that to running the Gillette International group because I got to work writing and shooting in Asia,Eastern Europe and Latin America. Then the strangest leap of all to running the L'Oreal Paris group at McCann where I rebuilt the creative group and led by example. I had the greatest time with a client who valued and encouraged the improv factor of being able to create work on the spot and seizing every opportunity to make ideas fresher and better. From there I jumped to work on J&J brands like Band Aid brand,Monistat,Stayfree,Acuvue,K.Y. Reach toothbrushes and for a flickering moment Rembrandt tooth whitening. With Stayfree and Acuvue the challenge was to create global campaigns with regional effectiveness. It was an adventure and a great time to work with amazing people in that prestigious company. And from there I jumped to Olay because I was curious to see how this powerhouse Procter and Gamble brand worked. In between all of these names and brands I managed to touch many others from AT&T to Cereal Partners to Lunesta to Iams. And now I am working at Grey,on Pantene, learning more every day about how to keep my story telling fresh.
