Directed by Alexander Brown, the video for James Blake’s ‘If The Car Beside You Moves Ahead’ captures the hypnotic compelling quality of the track itself. Entirely visual, it is based simply on the feeling of a drive – “a visualizer, cycling through moody close-ups of a black mustang speeding through a rainy cityscape at night, smothered by streaks of light in motion.”
