WHEN DID YOU LAST USE A PHONE BOOTH, OR EVEN NOTICE ONE? THEY’VE BEEN PRACTICALLY INVISIBLE FOR YEARS. Telstra Air has turned old phone booths into new Wi-Fi hotspots. Places to gather and download, stream or game.

So to launch Telstra Air, we made the invisible visible. Collaborating with artist James Dive to
create a spectacular installation across Melbourne CBD: light streams representing Wi-Fi streams, coordinated over a purpose-built Wi-Fi network.

The installation got #telstraair trending, made phone booths interesting again and got people interacting with them - in many cases, for the first time in their lives
